How the check works

1. Submission. You send an invitation to a temporary address or submit a survey link.
2. Isolation. The message is parsed and sanitised. Risky attachments are quarantined. Every outbound request is limited to public web addresses.
3. Technical checks. Headers, sender authentication, links, images and redirect chains. The email is rendered at desktop and phone widths, in dark mode and with images off.
4. Survey walk-through. A phone-sized browser opens the survey, tries to continue without answering, fills in test answers and moves page by page, twice with different answers to detect branching. It stops before the final submit.
5. Accessibility. axe-core runs on each page, and the keyboard path to the Next button and the focus indicator are tested.
6. Wording review. A language model reviews questions and answer options. Every suggestion must quote the survey text exactly, or it is discarded, and it can never be rated above Medium.
7. Report. Findings are ranked by severity. The launch status follows fixed rules: any critical finding blocks, any high finding needs fixes.
